At the centre of this hand-painted ceramic plate, a solitary figure sits beside a vessel of water, wrapped within her own thoughts. This work was inspired by ancient rituals that once formed part of everyday life: collecting water, tending to the home, moving with the seasons, and finding meaning in simple acts repeated over generations. Moments that may have appeared ordinary, yet carried a quiet sense of presence and belonging.

In the world of Tanushka, water often appears as a symbol of renewal and introspection. Here, the vessel becomes more than an object; it becomes a companion to contemplation, a reminder to slow down and return to ourselves.
